Our Environment

Learning in a Safe, and caring environment

Children must learn in a safe environment.  We are preparing students for adulthood and communication with and among all ages of adults and other with young adolescents.  We are teaching the students negotiation skills, communication skills, positive moral behavior, and respect for others and their world.  Therefore, we have a zero tolerance for teasing, name calling, or bullying.  We will not allow students to use inappropriate language among themselves or directed to any adult.  Our rules are reinforced daily by all staff.  Additionally, we require that parents and students read and sign the parent/student code of conduct sent home with each student at the beginning of each school year.

School life at SGS

Students love learning at Spring Gate School.  We offer a wide variety of activities for our students to participate in and take leadership roles.    A sound foundation in the academics coupled with wholesome activities lead into becoming cooperative leaders in our communities.  Speakers and community members help prepare our students for a strong future.
