The Enrollment process
The admission process at Spring Gate School is a simple, but important one. We begin with an interview with the parent and student where we discuss the child, the expectations of the parent, and complete our conversation with a tour of our campus. We complete the enrollment papers which review all background information and files from previous schools and organizations. We ask that parents bring the student back to Spring Gate School at a later date for the initial screening, The Brigance Comprehensive Inventory of Basic Skills, which will help us determine the working level of the child.
Calendar and School Hours:
The school calendar for the new school year is created by March of the existing school year. The calendar for 2010-2011 school year is included.
School hours are 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Before and After School Care:
Before and After School care is provided at Spring Gate School. For a fee, to be determined annually, students may be dropped off in the morning at 7:00 AM. In the afternoon, we provide, again for a nominal fee, after school care for students until 6:00 PM.
We offer time for physical activity, homework help, technology exploration, and snack time during our extended day care.

Spring Gate School is exploring the possibility of offering regional pick-up and drop-off SGS van stops for our students. This offering will come with a nominal fee to parents. We will continue with our study and keep parents informed.
